You can have up to 8 stereo outputs from Maschine so you can process 8 separate groups/sounds on 8 Reaper tracks. Once you get this far there are other steps to enable more outputs. It sounds like you want to Route audio output from Maschine into Reaper and process the audio with VST effects.
I mentioned because I want to be clear what you mean.
VSTi is for VST instruments like synthisizers or Maschine.
